A few things:
Found the best stuff to deal with the parade of ants that comes every spring. Terro Ant Bait. It initially brings on more ants, but they all either die or return the stuff to the queen, and soon the whole colony is gone. We got it at Ace Hardware and I've seen it at Walgreens.
Melissa - Baskin-Robbins will offer a free 3 oz. soft serve cup or cone to expectant mothers on Weds., May 21 from 11 AM until 10 PM.
Naperville will be having a Kite Fly Festival on June 7th and 8th. If anyone is interested, I'll get more info.

Dave got to feel Peanut kick this morning, for the first time!!! :)
We do have a few need-to-be recycled items that we'll have to bring to Naperville before early June.
Dave cleaned out a huge bird nest in our gutter this morning. We've been hearing the birds for weeks now and have suspected they were up to no good. He said 2 small birds flew out of the nest as he approached it. No eggs were in the nest. Guess the birds have to find some other place to live...
Hurray for little Peanut! I'm glad he/she showed their self to their Daddy.
We still have the robin's nest on the awning of the PW. We need to keep track of when the eggs hatch and the little ones fly away so we can pull the nest down. There are plenty of other places they can build a new one!
