We had a great time camping. Chris and Sami made some friends and learned how to catch frogs in butterfly nets. The campgrounds had a small playground and a manmade beach. They had a good time at both. Our only complaint is that the BNSF railroad was right next to the campgrounds. So all night we heard freight trains rumbling by. Poor Sami was awakened from a deep sleep the first night and screamed in terror. She was quite sure that train was headed right for her.
On our way to the campgrounds, DJ was contacted by a headhunter who had a very promising job potential. They set up a phone interview for that Thursday. From there he went to a face to face interview on Friday. The company was so impressed with DJ that they cancelled one other interview. He was offered the job yesterday as Michele was getting ready for her first day at Jewel. He will start on August 16. It is with a financial company in Oak Brook. We are all very excited.
If Michele gets motivated and orders Chris and Sami's school books, we will probably start back to school when DJ starts back to work.Hopefully, that will keep us from missing dad too much.
That's about all the excitement here. Take care

HOORAY!! Hope the new job is just what DJ is looking for. Does this mean Wells Fargo is out of the picture altogether? If so, then so be it. How's the Jewel Bakery so far?
Glad the camping went well but that's a bummer about the train. Seems pretty goofy to put a campground next to a freight train track...
