Update:
Last evening Gram called me because she had swelling and severe pain in her leg along the incision. An ice pack seemed to help, but this morning it was worse so her doctor had her call 911 and go to the hospital. She's still there - they're admitting her, and I'm on my way to her house to get some stuff she needs and then I'm going back up to the hospital. I'll be in touch....

We are sorry to hear about Gram and hope she is feeling better soon. We will be praying for her.
I talked to Gram yesterday and she sounds strong, but kind of depressed (and can you blame her?). She'd hoped to be going home yesterday but they're keeping her there until she's able to move around better on her own. So now she's shooting for coming home on Tuesday. Happy Memorial Day everyone!
