On to the NFC Championship!

Bear down, Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory;
Bear down, Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T-formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown.
You're the pride and joy of Illinois, Chicago Bears, bear down.

5 months old...

Happy New Year to my favorite family! Today I turn 5 months old. My major accomplishment of the past month is I learned to roll over! You could say I'm a pro from back to tummy, but have only rolled tummy to back once.

I have the same feeding and sleeping schedule except I now take a nap in my crib, about 1 1/2 hrs daily.

I'm still a real joy to be around and my giggle is contagious!

I absolutely love to suck on my hands and I continue to drool like mad, but the doctor says no teeth yet.

The exersaucer remains my favorite playtime activity.

I'm also grabbing my knees now and soon I'll be reaching for my feet.

Mommy just started to play the Baby Signing Time videos and I enjoy watching them.

Today we made new friends! Steve brought his dogs, Gisella and Foxy over. Evelyn had a great time!

Sausage, Apple & Egg Casserole

One of the dishes that Brandon and I made on our big pre-baby cooking day was a breakfast casserole that contained (you guessed it) sausage, apples, and eggs. We enjoyed eating it out of the freezer, so I made it 'fresh' on Christmas morning. It's so tasty and easy that I thought I'd share the recipe with you. Instead of typing it up myself I looked online and let someone else do the work for me. CLICK HERE and you will find that it's also a pretty inexpensive meal.
