Look at me...Today I'm 3!

That's right!  I'm officially 3 fingers today.  As you can see, I'm very excited about turning 3. Today we are going to the spray park, then out for ice cream.

I am such a sweet boy!  I'm caring, well mannered and quite good at sharing.  My listening ears can use some fine tuning at times.  Mommy is hoping it's my age.

I'm a great eater and am willing to try new foods all the time.  Nanny Donna can't believe I even eat raw spinach.  :)

I sleep very well and have been enjoying bunking with big sis, Evelyn.  We love our new bunk beds!

My favorite activity is singing and watching music videos.  I love belting out tunes.  I'm a fab entertainer, once I get passed my occasional shyness.  I also enjoy bike riding, playing with little people, cars, books, puzzles, coloring, and movies.  I love, love, love Toy Story, but Amazing Spiderman is now a close second.  

I start preschool in a couple weeks and can't wait!  I have a new backpack and lunchbox, so I'm ready to go.

EASTER

Happy Easter from the Oldest and Smallest Wood's

4 Years Old

 Today is my 4th birthday!  Can you believe my school is closed and Mommy & Daddy don't have to work today because it's my special day?!?  They said I won't be this lucky next year, so I will enjoy our togetherness today.

I started my 2nd year of preschool  2 weeks ago.  I go Mon, Tues, and Thurs from 8a -1p.  It's going very well since I love to learn.  I can write all my numbers and upper case letters and am doing quite well practicing my lower case letters.  I'm learning about the United States, how  the calendar works, how to tell time and how to read (just a little).

I'm a social butterfly!  I love to strike up conversations any where I go.  My favorite pass time is playing with my brother and my neighbors Christian and Sarah.

Since learning I have a wheat/gluten intolerance, I've been eating really well because my tummy no longer hurts.  It's been a challenge, but now we know the culprit and are moving forward.  Unfortunately, it's not something a person can out grow.  But, believe it or not, there are SO many gluten free options these days, I'll never feel like I'm missing out.

CAN YOU GUESS WHO'S TWO???

 Howdy Folks! Yep - today I'm two and am no longer a "baby" in the eyes of my Mommy.  This actually makes her a bit sad.  :(  I'm an incredibly cheerful little man who loves to smile and play.  Big sister, Evelyn and I have a blast together!  We play on the swing set and ride bikes. We read books and color.  I'm really liking trains, cars and dinosaurs these days too.  My favorite thing to do is climb!  It drives Mommy and Daddy nuts, but I enjoy hoisting myself up on the kitchen sink to turn on the faucet and play in the water.  And I move at lightening speed.  They turn around for a minute, and there I go.

  Although I'm as skinny as a rail, my appetite is quite impressive....same as my sleep habits- I'm such an easy kid.  I'm FULL of words, (words that you can actually understand), and chat it up all day long.  I thank Evelyn for my verbal skills.  That girl talks and talks and talks!

I have to be on my best behavior that I'm two since I'm now old enough to be placed on the naughty rug.  I'm going to have to really consider if the action is worth the consequence of time out.  Hhmmm...Decisions...  :)
 I sure hope all of you can come to my birthday party so we can celebrate this big day together!

WHO SAID WE ARE GETTING OLD ?!!!

Happy 1/2 Birthday to ME!!!

That's correct...today I am 18 months old! Look out Evelyn- before you know it, I'll be doing circles around you. :)

I'm a very active ball of energy who likes to climb, climb, climb! Mom worries because I'm such a monkey, but I tell her not to since I've already mastered falling gracefully.

As you can see, I have many teeth and am currently drooling like crazy, so more are on their way. I'm an outstanding eater, so I'm not exactly sure why I need more teeth??? To fill in my smile, maybe???

I'm able to sign 5ish words. Could sign more if I were able to sit still to watch the videos. I can say way more words. The trouble is most people can't understand me. Guess I have to keep practicing. I'm really into repeating words. A few of my favorite sayings are "tickle, tickle, tickle", ..."ashes, ashes, we all fall down', "e-i-e-i-o",and "go, go,go".

I love to play with anything that has wheels, and like anything "little people". I also enjoy reading too. Most fun of all is playing absolutely anything with big sis, Evelyn. She and I are the greatest of friends.

I continue to prove I'm an amazing being who has such a sweet spirit and a great love for all around me. Oh, yeah- I'm also super handsome and have an infectious smile.
